On Monday, 16/12/2024 (2081/09/01), the Central Department of Library and Information Science, TU, with the support of the Confucius Institute at TU, inaugurated a Basic Chinese Language Class.   

Wang Lisha, the instructor of training from China introduced some basic vowel alphabets of the Chinese language for the very first day of the training. 14 trainees have participated in the class and this training will continue for six months. Participants are affiliated to different departments, and offices of the TU. This training aims to develop language proficiency, cultural understanding, practical application, and global acceptance of the Chinese language. In the opening ceremony, the Director of Confucius Institute at TU, Balram Duwal, Ph.D. and Head of the Department, Central Department of Library and Information Science, Lila Nyaichyai, Ph.D. introduced the objectives of the class and insight into the importance of training class.
